Penn State Behrend

Founded: October 2011
Installed: February 28, 2015

Triangle Fraternity at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College came about thanks to sixteen young men wanting to make a difference in both the school and the current Greek Life at the college. These sixteen men came together lead by one man, Patrick McKinley. Patrick, like the rest of the eventual chapter Founding Fathers, wanted a different experience than ones offered by existing campus Fraternities.

In October of 2011, the men were pinned as Founding Fathers of the Penn State Behrend Interest Group. Following the formation of the interest group the men spent their time organizing and striving towards the next step of Colony. The organization was granted colony status in  July of 2012 at the Herbert S. Scobie Leadership School and obtained chapter status in February of 2015. To this day, Triangle Fraternity at Penn State Behrend continues to grow and prosper and develop balanced men who cultivate high moral character, foster lifelong friendships, and live with integrity.
