2017 Convention Registration

CONVENTION REGISTRATION TYPES

Triangle National Conventions are attended by Triangle’s of all ages. Approximately three fourths of all attendees are voting delegates, both alumni and active members. However, many other attendees are chapter advisory board members, visiting alumni and active members, friends of Triangle, spouses, and children. Your role at convention as well as your registration fee and schedule of activities will vary depending on your registration type.

 

VOTING DELEGATES

Below are four types of Triangle members who have voting privileges on the convention floor. They will vote on important legislative business, as well as the election of National Council. If you are a voting delegate, you will be responsible to attend all business sessions and be present for roll call.

VOTING UNDERGRADUATE DELEGATE (2 per active chapter)

Active chapter delegates will be responsible for a $30.00 fee. This fee covers convention materials, meals, convention sessions, and double-room accommodations.

VOTING ALUMNUS DELEGATE 

Active chapter alumni delegate (1 per active chapter). Responsible for a $30.00 fee. This fee covers convention materials, meals, convention sessions, and double-room hotel accommodations.

Alumni organization delegate (1 per alumni association). Alumni organization delegates will be responsible for a $30.00 fee. This fee covers convention materials, meals, convention sessions, and double-room hotel accommodations.

Members of National Council. National councilmen will be responsible for a $30.00 fee. This fee covers convention materials, meals, convention sessions, and double-room accommodations.

 

NON-VOTING/GENERAL ATTENDEES

NON-VOTING UNDERGRADUATES

Any number of additional active chapter members are welcomed to attend convention; including business sessions. Non-voting undergraduates are responsible for a $150.00 fee. This fee covers convention materials, meals, and convention sessions. You will need to book your hotel room on the lodging & travel page.

NON-VOTING ALUMNI

Any number of additional alumni members are welcomed to attend convention; including business sessions. Non-voting alumni members are responsible for a $425.00 fee. This fee covers convention materials, meals, and convention sessions. You will need to book your hotel room on the lodging & travel page.

FAMILIES & GUESTS

Alumni are often accompanied by their spouses and/or children to National Convention. Registration for family members and guests can be selected in the “package add-on’s” for $150.00. This fee covers convention meals, convention sessions (with the exception of business sessions & Ritual round tables), and a care-package. You will need to book their hotel room on the lodging & travel page.

 


 

HOW TO REGISTER

Please make sure you carefully read the registration types listed above to determine how to appropriately register for the 2017 National Convention.

REGISTRATION POLICIES

     –  A late fee of $25.00 will be assessed to any individual registering after June 1, 2017.
     –  Triangle’s hotel block closes on June 26, 2017.
     –  Registering or booking your hotel after June 26 may be subject to regular pricing.
     –  Cancellations received after July 1, 2017 are non-refundable.

REGISTRATION PROCESS

VOTING DELEGATES

     1.  Click “register” at the top of the registration page.
     2.  Select your registration type.
     3.  Do not select any meals or sessions – these are included in your package.
     4.  Once complete, click on “submit registration” at the bottom of the registration page.
     5.  Check-out; paying your $30.00 registration fee.

NON-VOTING DELEGATES

     1.  Click “register” at the top of the registration page.
     2.  Select your registration type.
     3.  Do not select any meals or sessions – these are included in your package.
     4.  Once complete, click on “submit registration” at the bottom of the registration page.
     5.  Check-out; paying either your $150.00 or $425.00 registration fee.
     7.  Book your hotel prior to June 26, 2017 on the lodging & travel page.

WEEKEND PACKAGE

     1.  For those interested in joining us for the weekend only.
     2.  The fee  is $175.00 and includes meals and sessions for Saturday, July 22, 2017.
     3.  Click “register” at the top of the registration page.
     4.  Select “weekend package”.
     5.  Do not select any meals or sessions – these are included in your package.
     6.  Once complete, click on “submit registration” at the bottom of the registration page.
     7.  Check-out; paying either your $175.00 registration fee.
     8.  You may select Friday excursion add-on’s if interested.
     9.  Book your hotel prior to June 26, 2017 on the lodging & travel page.

PACKAGE ADD-ON’S

Off-Site Excursions: On Friday, July 21, 2017 we will be offering two off-site excursions to Sedona, Arizona and to the Wet ‘N’ Wild Waterpark. For those interested in attending an excursion please select your trip of interest in the package add-on’s. For more information on trip excursions, click here.

     –  Sedona Excursion: $100.00
        Includes professional motor coach transportation to and from Sedona, boxed lunch
for the ride up, and opportunities to sign up for additional outings while in Sedona

     –  Wet ‘N’ Wild Waterpark: $55.00
       
Includes professional motor coach transportation to and from the park,
        park entry, and a BBQ buffet dinner

Families & Guests: Any alumnus interested in bringing family members or guests will select this option in the package add-on’s. The fee is $150.00 and includes all meals and sessions (with the exception of Thursday lunch, business sessions & Ritual round tables) and a spouse care-package.  Please be sure to book your hotel room before June 26, 2017.

Single Room Upgrade: All hotel accommodations that are included in voting delegate packages are double-rooms. For those interested in upgrading to a single room, select “single room upgrade” in the package add-on’s for an additional $220.00.
