Cost per track varies based on grants from generous alumni gifts and the Triangle Education Foundation and usage of Chapter Endowment Funds. The cost of each track includes professional-level facilitation, participant workbooks provided with post-LTW resources, meals during LTW, lodging at Jameson Camp, low ropes course (SLMPLA participants only), transportation to and from airport, and participant t-shirts.

Those Chapters with a Chapter Endowment Fund will use funds to cover $219.00 of the total costs.  Those Chapters/Colonies without a CEF will receive additional financial assistance from TEF that reduces the costs to $90.00.

**If your chapter has a Chapter Endowment Fund the Triangle Education Foundation fundable portion will be automatically deducted from the fund unless you choose to opt out. To opt out select the opt out option on the LTW event registration page.


Finance Workshop

Total Cost:

Those Chapters with a Chapter Endowment Fund will use funds to cover $180.00 of the total costs.  Those Chapters/Colonies without a CEF will receive additional financial assistance from TEF that reduces the costs to $180.00.

Triangle Fraternity is making $2,250.00 in travel scholarships possible to Finance Workshop attendees.

  • SLMPLA is named after Steven L. Miller ill64, former chapter president and CEO of Shell Oil Company and is designed to offer chapter & colony presidents the skills and resources to assist them in leading a student organization. By attending this program, participants will be able to:
    • Identify their leadership style and how to work with other individuals effectively;
    • Effectively communicate with their stakeholders;
    • Identify steps to effectively problem solve issues;
    • Identify effective and efficient ways to manage risk within their organization;
    • Identify ways to delegate to their organization’s membership;
    • Identify coping strategies for dealing with critics.

Who should attend?
Active Organization Presidents are required to attend per the Pyramid Accreditation program.

  • The Leadership Advantage program is Triangle’s signature extended new student orientation coordinated by chapters and hosted in the summer months
  • Leadership Advantage is a student organization within Triangle; the event itself is open to both men and women to participate, and it’s strongly encouraged that Triangle partner with a women’s group at your college/university to co-sponsor (i.e. SWE, Phi Sigma Rho, AOE, ASK)
  • This conference is a train-the-trainers event.  By attending this program participants will be able to:
    • Identify their leadership style and how to work with others effectively;
    • Identify the vision and purpose of their program and be able to communicate it to stakeholders;
    • Establish effective methods of delegation;
    • Increase their confidence in public speaking;
    • Identify methods to effectively collaborate with others;
    • Successfully plan and implement an event.

Who should attend?
Chapters/Colonies that are currently hosting or have plans to host Leadership Advantage should send delegates to this workshop.

  • The Connect. Market. Engage workshop is designed to assist those responsible for the marketing and promotions of their organization. By attending, participants will be able to:
    • Identify their leadership style and how to work with others effectively;
    • Identify key stakeholders for their organization;
    • Establish a referral system to attract new members for their organization;
    • Start and hold meaningful and engaging conversations;
    • Identify and sell their organizations brand;
    • Teach their members how to effectively recruit new members into their organization.

Who should attend?
Recruitment chairs are required to attend per the Pyramid Accreditation program.

  • The membership education workshop is designed for those individuals responsible for leading the day-to-day education and member development for their organizations.  By attending this program participants will be able to:
    • Identify their leadership style and how to work with others effectively;
    • Identify the different needs and interests of their organization’s members;
    • Recognize the unique needs and expectations of organization new members;
    • Create a safe and healthy new member experience that prepares members for a life-long commitment;
    • Identify resources to assist them in the membership development process.

Who should attend?
Those who are responsible for membership education and new member education.

  • The finance workshop is designed for the organization treasurer. By attending this workshop, participants will be able to:
    • Identify their leadership style and how to work with other individuals effectively;
    • Identify the key responsibilities of serving as their organization’s treasurer;
    • Identify ways to effectively communicate to their organization’s members;
    • Identify the seven steps to effective confrontation;
    • Create and manage a budget that aligns with the values of the organization;
    • Identify two national opporutnities to receive chapter funding and support.
