National Hazing Prevention Week (NHPW) is September 24-28, 2018! NHPW is an opportunity for campuses, schools, communities, organizations, and individuals to come together and talk about hazing in their communities, raise awareness about the problem of hazing, educate others about hazing, and promote the prevention of hazing. HazingPrevention.Org is the sponsor and organizer of National Hazing Prevention Week which is held the last full week of September each year.
This year, Triangle is working hard to show our zero tolerance for hazing. Through our partnership with the Fraternal Health & Safety Initiative, we will be facilitating the Hazing Prevention program to several of our colonies and chapters around the country in September and October. If you would like to have this program facilitated at your chapter, contact Ariel Tarosky at ariel@triangle.org.
Additionally, we are excited to provide you with some great resources via hazingprevention.org. You still have some time to plan activities for your chapter and campus before NHPW, and can use this helpful resource and planning guide. We also encourage you to visit https://hazingprevention.org/home/hazing/hazing-and-its-consequences/ to learn more about the harmful effects of hazing.
