We have signed on with PCI out of Dallas, Texas for the new Alumni Directory. Work will begin in November and alumni will receive mailings, emails, and calls to update their information online or via phone. This year, we will be asking for better professional information to help us start a national “Career Contact” area. Alumni will opt-in to allow a student to contact them to learn more about what they do and how they arrived there.
We hope you will respond when asked to update your information and will consider participating in the Career Contact Program.
I’m always open to mentoring willing students. I’ve just moved back home to VA, Richmond specifically, and might be willing/able to give some insight into the real world, particularly as regards the fine art of networking to, well, whatever you happen to be aiming at. It comes with a strong dose of “stand up straight and look me in the eye,” and a demand to learn and live that “givers gain.” Fair warning.

Hi Roy! Thanks for your note. Coincidentally, we have a young chapter at VCU there in Richmond eager for interaction with alumni. Would you mind if I connect you with their president? I was there a couple weeks ago and they could use input from alumni – especially one who has helped start a chapter. Please respond to me at tom@triangle.org.
