In December the National Council approved the Petition for Charter from the colony at the University of Washington in Seattle. The colony has had great success over the last two years particularly, increasing in size to over 40 men and establishing a strong tradition of scholarship and service, so will be a great addition to Triangle’s roster of chapters.
The Installation weekend will be held March 27/28 in Seattle and will be attended by Triangle officers, volunteers and staff, as well as Seattle area alumni, family and friends of the members, and university officials. The schedule will be as follows:
Friday, March 27, 2020
6-8 PM – Public Meet & Greet with National officers and staff at the Chapter house – 5212 19th Ave. NE., 98105. Dress is casual.
Saturday, March 28, 2020
9-11 AM – Ritual Meeting and Installation at the Chapter house. This is an event for Triangle members only. Business attire required.
2-4 PM – Public Reception and Presentation of the Charter at the Intellectual House on the UW campus – 4249 Whitman Ct NE, 98105. Dress is business or business casual. $25 per person. Please register/pay online by March 20 (see link below).
Registration: Information and registration for the event is online now at the link below. Friday evening is open to all; Saturday morning is for Triangle members only; Saturday reception requires advance registration/payment.

Host Hotel: Our weekend host hotel is Graduate-Seattle at 4507 Brooklyn Avenue N.E. 98105. We have secured a block of rooms at a $125++ rate per night. Reservations MUST be made by February 26 or unreserved rooms and our rate will be released. Contact the hotel directly at 206-634-2000 and mention the Triangle room block, or book online and include the note “Triangle Installation Weekend” in the Additional Details field.
Parking: The closest parking will be the Padelford Parking Garage. Lots N05, N13-15, E01 and E18 are all open parking lots on campus and should be free to park after noon on weekends. There also is street parking near both chapter houses along 18th and 19th St. north of the UW campus.

Attire: Casual attire for Friday Meet & Greet; business attire for the Saturday morning Ritual meeting (Triangle members only) and; for the Saturday afternoon reception, business or business casual is appropriate.
Contributions: For those unable to attend, contributions can be made online to help underwrite the costs of the weekend and/or to help the chapter with Chartering costs (fees, Ritual regalia, etc.).
